Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, the Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 to 2019 having been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since 2011. As SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities as producer costumes/set designers, composers/music directors and text coach. In her final year, she was a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut. Apart from acting, she's also worked on a number of games programs. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her twin siblings. She attended Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. From 1982, she's been married to actor and writer Michael A. Ross with whom her two kids. Post an amazing actress, as well as an ideal mother and wife, is an example to many Hollywood actors.
