Lauren Ash-Morgan, the Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 to 2019 having been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since 2011. As SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan also served in the capacities as producer costumes/set designers, composers/music directors and text coach. In her final year, she was a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
