Taylor Swift's full name can be described as Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 West Reading, Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular songwriter and singer at the beginning of 2001 when she began to write songs about heartbreak. Swift began to show an keen interest in the world of music as early as age. Her career progressed rapidly beyond the roles of children's entertainers, through her first public appearance in front of thousands. When Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of Philadelphia 76ers fans at a football game at the age of 11 she had already begun making songs. The next year she picked up the guitar. Swift was inspired by artists in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks in order to write original music that expressed the apathy she experienced at the age of 13. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania with her parents in the state of Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to the wooing of labels of country music in Nashville.
